What Makes the Weekend Special?

What makes this time so special is our focus. We only do four things... Pray, Worship, Hear from God's Word, and edify one another through fellowship. It's special because as we implement these Biblical practices and Obey God's commands, He works in our lives. Every Prayer Advance 24 will have at least 4 preaching sessions, 2 guided group prayer times, 1 personal prayer experience, and lots of opportunities to worship God's name and edify one another. 

  • Prayer - Prayer isn’t the only thing we do, but it should be the most important thing we do. Too often there is too much talking about prayer without any actual praying. That is not the case at a Prayer Advance. 
  • Worship - Heartfelt worship is more important than the style of worship. Authentic worship draws us to closer to the Lord and encourages involvement of the group as a whole. 
  • God's Word - Powerful Preaching that is Word-shaped and Spirit-filled speaks to the heart.
  • Fellowship - Edification is a command in Scripture and only amplifies the working of God in our life. 

Why Prayer Advance 24?

Back in 1988 Harold and some pastor friends went away for a couple of days to pray together and seek the face of God for a reviving work in their lives and churches, and as they prayed and searched the Scriptures God moved mightily in their midst. From that time the Prayer Advances were born. Our Prayer Advances we host have grown over the years, but not everyone can travel to them and take 2-3 days off work. This desire to see more people experience God in a personal way through the elements of the Prayer Advance have led us to launch Prayer Advance 24. It is 24 hours of seeking God's face in your hometown and at your local church. 

Option 1 (Prayer Advance 24) Sample Schedule:

  • Saturday
    • Noon-1PM – (Registration)
    • 1 PM – Opening Session
    • 2:45 PM – Second Session
    • 3:45 PM – Sweet Hour of Prayer
    • 5:15 PM – Dinner
    • 6:30 PM – Evening Session
    • 8:15 PM – Prayer Groups
  • Sunday (Optionally keep Harold over to speak Sunday Night)
    • 9:30 AM – Interactive Praying Through the Scriptures
    • 10:30 AM – Last Session/Main Service

Option 2 (Prayer Advance 24) Sample Schedule:

  • Friday
    • 6:30 PM – Registration
    • 7 PM – Opening Session
    • 9 PM – Prayer Groups
  • Saturday
    • 10:30 AM – Morning Session
    • Noon – Lunch
    • 1 PM – Interactively Praying Through The Scriptures
    • 2 PM – Afternoon Session
    • 3:30 PM – Sweet Hour Of Prayer
    • 4:30 PM – Dinner break
    • 6:30 PM – Closing Session
  • Sunday
    • Optionally Keep Harold over for Sunday to Speak (Can affect travel expenses)
