Glendy Hamilton was saved on January 6, 1976. The last
of thirteen children, he was born on February 3, 1950 in Tangerine,
FL to Willie and Olivia Hamilton. He made a profession of
faith when he was 13 years old and was a “moral young
fellow.” After graduating from Phyllis Wheatley High
School in Apopka, FL in 1968, he was accepted to Florida A&M.
In 1976, a classmate told him about a Bible study on campus.
After visiting one time, he was convicted of being a sinner
and trusted Christ in his room that night. He received the
assurance of his salvation two weeks later. From there, began
a wonderful journey of growth in church and Bible study.
Currently Glendy is pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in Orlando,
FL. Harvest Baptist is an excited independent ministry where
soul winning is the main thing. Since 1990, an average of
3,000 souls have prayed to receive Christ annually. Personally,
since 1994, Glendy has led at least one soul a day to the
Lord Jesus. |
